Job description
Avid Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with expertise in AWS Quicksight. This role involves defining requirements, collaborating with vendors, and serving as the Subject Matter Expert for developing and implementing AWS Quicksight applications, interfaces, and datasets. The successful candidate will also provide consultation on complex projects and lead efforts to research, evaluate, and recommend architectural frameworks, technology solutions, and implementation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document systems scope, objectives, and requirements based on user needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure successful development and implementation of AWS Quicksight solutions.
- Develop project plans and provide project management expertise when necessary.
- Analyze and address complex technical and business challenges, recommending innovative solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and service providers, negotiating agreements and resolving competing needs.
- Research and recommend architectural frameworks, implementation strategies, and technology solutions.
- Develop presentations to effectively communicate project progress and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support transition requirements to ensure smooth migration from current to future states.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 16+ years of experience in business analysis, including:
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Use of MS Office/PowerPoint for documentation and communication.
- Extensive experience with AWS Quicksight application development and implementation.
- Proven ability to devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems and optimize systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience; PMP Certification preferred.
