Avid Systems is seeking a Microsoft 365 Junior Systems Administrator to support the DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). The Junior Administrator will assist with the daily management and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on providing responsive and effective end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and troubleshoot client-side issues related to Microsoft 365, handling escalations from Octo
- Helps and working toresolve tickets efficiently.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior administrators and other relevant IT staff as needed.
- Perform bulk activations, user setup, and license assignments within the Microsoft 365 admin center to support user onboarding and maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and IT team members to implement best practices, improve support processes, and enhance user experience.
- Develop and deliver user training on Microsoft 365 features, and create documentation to help end-users maximize the platform’s capabilities.
- Actively monitor and report on system performance and security, identifying potential issues proactively to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide support to end-users for Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Well versed in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with end-user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience with endpoint management usinb various MDM services, (Workspace One, Intune)
- Familiarity with Exchange Online.
- Ability to follow structured migration and onboarding processes.
- Strong communication skills for providing effective user training and support.
- 3 years of experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite and managing account creation in AD and Entra ID.
- 3 years of experience with Azure AD Connect.
- 3 years of experience managing Exchange and Active Directory permissions for user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, and public folders.
- 3 years of experience supporting MS Office Suite 2010, 2013, 2016, and Windows 7, 8, 10, 11.
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting Outlook client connectivity issues.
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting email delivery and routing issues.
- 3 years of experience providing expert-level customer service and client-facing support with Office 365.
- 3 years of experience supporting and training end-users on Outlook 2010, 2013, and 2016, including configuration for new O365 services.
- 3 years of experience with Outlook 2013, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Office 365 online services
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
